LAST POST

This is probably the last trip we do all together bretonians. This four years have been wonderful, I havw a lot of new people, I have learnt a lot of new things and I will keep all this memories for the rest of my life. I love english, because since I was very young, I have been studying it outside tge school. This has helped me a lot al the time of learning new things and remembering the old ones. In english classes we have made a lot of fantastic projects, like doing a representation of a restaurant, Hammlet and the Lion King, Carving a pumpkin, some musical videos... I will forever remember the feeling I had the first day of school, I was so nervous that I couldn’t even sleep the night before, because I wanted to grow up really fast, now I realize that every step of our lives is diferent and unique.  Thank you Cristina, for being an awesome teacher, because you always want to help us and make us improve in all aspects. The thing I like the most is your enthusiasm when you teach us,

For me, the most difficult part of this unit was the grammar, so, here is a brief review: -REPORTED SPEECH: You will have to recognise what type of sentence are you going to change, and then you will only have to make a few steps: -STATEMENT : You have to use SAID -COMMAND: You have to use TOLD followed by (me,you,he,she,we,you,they) + TO -QUESTION : -SOFT: ASKED  (me,you,he,she,we,you,they) + TO/IF                      -HARD: TOLD  (me,you,he,she,we,you,they) + TO

UNIT 4. LIVE WELL

VOCABULARY -FEEL BLUE: It means that you are sad -SLOW DOWN:Start doing something less fast -FACE UP:accept that a difficult situation exist -INSTEAD OF:”en lugar de” -CHILL OUT:relax completely -CALM DOWN:become or make somebody quieter or relaxed -CHEER UP:become or make somebody happier -OPEN UP:talk about how you feel -WORK OUT:do physical exercise -CUT DOWN:reduce the amount you take of something GRAMMAR In this unit we have seen the four types of conditional sentences, here´s a review: -FIRST CONDITIONAL- If/unless + present simple, will/ won´t + infinitive EX: If they pass their final exams, they will go to Spain on summer holidays to learn some spanish there. -SECOND CONDITIONAL- If + past simple, would + infinitive EX: I would choose going to Sevilla on the school trip if I were the headmaster of the school. -THIRD CONDITIONAL- If + past perfect simple, would have + past participle EX: I wouldn´t have spoken to her if I had

2nd TERM SELF-ASSESMENT

SELF-ASSESMENT In this second term self-assesment I think I have improved some aspects, like vocabulary, in general I have had better marks in the exams, because I have studied it more. Also I have learnt a lot about gothic literature and The Inquisition with our classes presentations. This term´s book has been very interesting for me, my favourite story is the Pit and the Pendulum. I hope to improve some things in the next term and get better marks.
